Master Scheduler
Job Title: Master SchedulerJob Description We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler who will collect and analyze data with a high level of independence and regularly exchange information with a variety of internal and external resources. The ideal candidate will create and maintain feasible master schedules, build plans across multiple programs, and proactively address potential scheduling issues to meet business and customer performance expectations. Responsibilities + Create and maintain a feasible master schedule across multiple programs. + Initiate contact with internal and external resources to report and resolve problems in advance. + Serve as a liaison with management to resolve production and performance issues. + Allocate resources and schedule large, complex workgroups. + Plan and prepare integrated master schedules and departmental workflows to meet business deadlines. + Gather and analyze data to coordinate resource allocation schedules. + Develop forecasts, interpret demands, and assess human, facility, equipment, and material resource requirements. + Identify and evaluate risks, developing alternative recovery schedules as needed. + Communicate schedule conflicts and status updates to management in a timely manner. + Work with planner/schedulers to ensure timely completion of scheduling. + Coordinate and/or schedule the development and training of employees based on department needs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in Primavera and Primavera P6. + Bachelor's degree in a related field. + 5 years of experience with the development and implementation of integrated master scheduling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. + Effective collaboration and communication skills with internal and external resources. + Strong computer skills and proficiency with technical tools and resources applicable to the area. Additional Skills & Qualifications + May be required to have U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances. Work Environment This role involves working in a dynamic environment where you will regularly interact with both internal and external resources. You will be expected to communicate and collaborate directly with various stakeholders as directed by management. The position may require handling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, and developing and training employees as needed based on departmental requirements.
