Master Scheduler

 Johnson Service Group an award-winning staffing company is looking for a Master Scheduler 10 years’ experience working in an Aerospace or Manufacturing environment. This is a Temp job opportunity for an Aircraft company in Valencia, CA.


Pay Rate: $55.00 HR

Overview:
A Master Scheduler will have the opportunity to lead daily production requirements ensure activities are accomplished by planning manufacturing schedules. the Master Schedule will need to consider, material availability, capacities, manpower and customer/forecasted requirements to meet customer expectations
 
 Responsibilities: Support manufacturing forecasting, definition of lot size optimization, stablishing minimum balances, follow-up of raw material release, shop order releases Ensure offloading /outsourcing strategies implementation. Review ECO review and approve Materials, BOM or routings Identify and remove the constraints, to adhere the customer demand schedule. Generate production resource requirement plan to include labor, equipment, fixtures, tools and sub-materials, etc. and review for alignment with Focus Factories. Support raw material supply and finished goods changes with data analysis Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs, improve production processes and product quality Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. Identifies changes to the production schedule and coordinates with the relevant departments to resolve. Research and identify the root cause for past due sales orders on-time delivery to find solutions to avoid it in the future. Review status reports for production progress, actioned with Aged WIP lots to support Inventory budgets. Determine reasons for aging inventory and engage with Focus Factory Leadership to correct inventory discrepancies. Resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies with production leadership, utilizing resources like, Product Management, Purchasing, Customer Service and Accounting Proactive work with the Purchasing and Fabrication departments to eliminate materials shortages in time to meet customer delivery dates and safety stock levels as indicated by companies’ MRP.  
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience 10 years + Experience in: Demand Planning, Materials Planning, Manufacturing Planning, Scheduling, Production Control and Supply Chain Experience with SAP Strong analytical skills Advanced Excel skills Excellent problem solving and written/oral communication skills Organized and able to effectively evaluate and prioritize workload Ability to work multiple tasks and be flexible with added tasks and changes in direction APICs Certification is helpful
