Master Scheduler

What We Need:
As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for the entire planning process for several product lines in our fast paced Milwaukee manufacturing facility. This includes, but is not limited to: planning master data, forecasts, inventory levels, excess and obsolete inventory, production schedules, plant capacity, new product introduction planning, and on time delivery for supported product lines.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer service targets.
+ Improve operational metrics such as inventory turnover, excess inventory, yield, lead time, and on-time delivery.
+ Ensure accuracy of master data in SAP for all planning components.
+ Collaborate with Manufacturing to optimize load leveling and bottleneck scheduling using Theory of Constraints (TOC).
+ Coordinate cross-functional information with customer service, engineering, accounting, and human resources.
+ Manage input and output loading at work centers.
+ Implement system and process enhancements in the supply chain to drive overall business process improvements.
+ Enhance existing forecast and supply programs to reduce days of inventory and improve cash cycle.
+ Improve forecasting tools and procedures to enhance accuracy.
+ Analyze inventory levels and demand patterns to establish reorder points and safety stocks, balancing product availability and inventory costs.
+ Foster positive communication with Marketing and Sales to improve forecast accuracy.
+ Lead Sales and Operations Meetings.
+ Review and adjust forecasts, production schedules, and material requirements.
+ Support new product development by forecasting launch needs, inventory builds, and launch schedules.
+ Evaluate materials availability and production schedules impacted by customer sales opportunities.
+ Address material shortages and stock outages, collaborating with Purchasing and Manufacturing to fulfill customer requirements and propose improvements.
+ Assist in resolving MRP and planning discrepancies.
+ Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What You Will Need To Be Successful:
+ Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
+ Minimum 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing environment using all of the required skills
+ Must possess a good understanding of forecasting and MRP
+ Must have excellent communication, presentation and problem solving skills.
+ The ability to work effectively within a team environment, including leading a project team.
+ Must be able to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities.
+ Proficient in SAP planning and production functionality and Microsoft Office.
