RiverTech is looking for a Master Scheduler to work in Colorado Springs, CO. The Master Scheduler reports to the Senior Projects Manager, who under the direction of the Program Manager, is responsible for executing and maintaining the program’s Integrated Master Schedule, monitoring invoices, projecting expenditures, proposing and executing contract modifications, and forecasting and reporting the program’s cost/schedule/performance status to the prime contractor customer.
As a member of the Scheduling team, the full-time Master Scheduler, working under the direction of the Program Master Scheduler, will work at the Colorado Springs, CO site alongside other Schedulers, Project Managers, Program Analysts, and Financial Analysts in an integrated in-office and virtual work environment to accomplish assigned Planning, Scheduling, and time-phased Cost integration functions. Responsibilities
Lead development of assigned portions of the program's cost and schedule time-phased baseline
Review and report performance updates from the program’s Control Account Managers
Contribute to the development of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) by working alongside the scheduling team and technical team leads to determine critical tasks and their interdependencies across the program
Develop and/or maintain scheduling status reports used at Program Management meetings
Develop and/or maintain schedule artifacts and other program documentation related to deliverables to prime contractor leadership
Determine the critical path of the assigned portions of program based on schedule progress and established task dependencies
Ensure project schedules are compliant with contract requirements and prime contractor scheduling standards
Support data transfer from Microsoft Project to the team’s reporting tools ensuring data accuracy
Actively participate in Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
Interact daily with technical leads, prime contractor leadership, and client personnel by updating schedules and providing schedule status data
Support the team’s continuous Schedule Change Control improvement efforts
May temporarily lead scheduling team activities in absence of the Master Scheduler
Qualifications
US Citizen required by contract
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical discipline (e.g., engineering, mathematics, computer science, operations research, statistics, economics, finance or business)
Minimum 5 years of project scheduling experience
Demonstrated knowledge in determining the Critical Path and performing Schedule status updates
Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling for projects
Demonstrated understanding of project management and the application of project management processes
Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Project.
This Hybrid position requires that you live within commuting distance from Colorado Springs, CO.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
7+ years of project management experience including 4 years of direct recent experience as a scheduler using MS Project on a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule
Experience analyzing and resolving schedule health assessment “items of interest”
Experience as a scheduler on projects using Earned Value Management
Experience with Milestones Professional Graphic reporting application
Currently possess a DoD Secret (or above) clearance
PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) certification and/or PMP (Project Management Professional)
Familiarity with DoD Contracting environment
Pay Range
$105,000.00
