Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Master Scheduler III in Sacramento, California. This position is within the industry and requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. As a Master Scheduler III, you will be entrusted with the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of various projects. Your role will also entail the implementation of scheduling policies and procedures, as well as the maintenance of accurate records and networks.
Responsibilities:
• Implementing scheduling policies and procedures in line with project requirements.
• Establishing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and/or Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs).
• Analyzing and reporting on cost/schedule baselines and variances.
• Preparing written and verbal reports for management regarding project statuses.
• Assisting in the management and implementation of baseline change requests.
• Supporting program life-cycle activities such as schedule status updates and forecasting.
• Conducting critical path analysis for project planning and execution.
• Participating in new business proposals through IMS and/or RLN support.
• Ensuring the preparation and delivery of schedule deliverables in a timely manner.
This role necessitates significant interaction with Program and Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, and financial analysts, among others. Your skills in Reporting, Training, Planning, Procedures, Policy, Scheduling, Finance, Implementation, Networks, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Methodology, Deliverable, and Integrated Master Schedule will be vital to your success in this role. Requirements • Proficiency in Reporting, capable of creating and interpreting detailed reports.
• Experience in Training, able to educate team members on various aspects of the role.
• Strong skills in Planning and Procedures, ensuring smooth operations.
• Understanding of company Policy and ability to implement it in scheduling tasks.
• Expertise in Scheduling, able to effectively manage and prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software or similar scheduling applications.
• Knowledge of Finance, capable of performing ad hoc financial analyses.
• Proven experience in Implementation, able to execute plans and projects effectively.
• Understanding of Networks, capable of forecasting and planning network needs.
• Willingness to Travel, including potential international travel.
• Ability to Answer queries and provide information in a clear and concise manner.
• Knowledge of HIPAA-Regulated environments, ensuring compliance in all tasks.
• Expertise in Variance Analysis, able to identify and explain variances in data.
• Familiarity with Methodology and Deliverable management, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Ability to use the programming language 'Go'.
• Experience with Credit Approvals, able to navigate the financial aspects of projects.
• Proficiency in IMS DB, demonstrating strong database management skills.
• Understanding of Critical Path methods, able to identify and manage project dependencies.
• Knowledge of NIS, demonstrating strong network information system skills.
