Job Description:

Microchip is seeking an experienced Master Technician – Facilities (Wastewater) to join our team in Lawrence Massachusetts! The Master Technician – Facilities (Wastewater) will act as the chief operator for the site, maintain, repair, or replace equipment when necessary and perform basic plumbing, mechanical and electrical work when necessary. Other responsibilities will include:

Operate Industrial Wastewater plant requiring a MA Grade 3I or higher license.Order necessary parts, tools, equipment, etc. in a timely manner by following company policies.Perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/ failures, take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions. Review, propose/ implement corrective actions or solutions to control these costs.Communicate and co-ordinate with the equipment suppliers to resolve equipment related issues.Maintain satisfactory targets for cost controls and downtime. Perform preventive maintenance schedules in accordance with company policy.Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations that affect manufacturing operations.Perform other duties as required or assigned by management.Perform maintenance of related wastewater plant equipment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications

High School Graduate or Technical school experience preferred.MA. Grade 3I or higher Industrial Wastewater license.Minimum of 2 years of maintenance work experience.Displays mechanical and electrical aptitude.Possesses knowledge of required codes.Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.Proficiency in state and local laws pertaining to job function.Basic knowledge of controllers and pumps.Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams, control logic and mechanical drawings a plus.
