The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Matching Gifts Representative in our National Center office located in Dallas, Texas. The location of this position is remote and flexible.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Matching Gifts administration, donor communication, and Customer Relationship Management database. Responsible for researching, identifying, and completing Matching Gift opportunities enterprise wide.

 

Essential Job Duties:

Prepare and submit documentation for Matching Gift contributions as identified by original donor.Research, identify and track corporate Matching Gift programs for development and promotion at fund-raising events.Prepare, document, and deliver donor communications and recognition.Develop and maintain relationships with region corporate giving teams to ensure process flow and revenue collection.Develops understanding and knowledge of Association Mission and goals to effectively communicate with donors.Participates in Mission Advancement team projects and initiatives as requested.

Qualifications

 

High School Diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years of experience providing administrative support for development teams in a nonprofit, hospital, research, or academic institution.Two (2) years of experience working with corporate and community relations contacts.One (1) year of project management experienceAbility to initiate support and collaborate with all levels of staff, prospects, volunteers, and donors.Comprehensive ability to prepare written communications.Advanced Microsoft Excel experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience in the following: Understanding of philanthropic environmentExperience using donor relationship management software, such as BBCRM, Dynamics, Tableau, and/or Raiser’s Edge Compensation & Benefits
