Job Description

Z-Modular, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Mateline Constructor to join our Field Services Division. Located in various locations in Texas and Arizona. Reporting to the General Superintendent, the ideal candidate will have multiple years of general hands on construction experience.

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

Working with hand and/or power equipment in a construction settingHanging, Taping and Finishing drywallPaintingCeiling InstallationGeneral Architectural finishes such as cabinet, door, and door hardware installation.Closet shelving installationMaterial handlingEnsuring proper safety procedures are followedOperating mobile equipmentOperating packing and banding equipmentAll other general construction tasks required to completely finish the communities new apartmentsOther duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma or EquivalentRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.Must have general construction experienceMust be able to remain in a stationary position for several hoursAbility to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push and pull.Must be able to lift 60lbs.Must be able to stand for 10-12 hoursAbility to perform work in a plant/manufacturing environmentOther physical requirements as needed for jobLegally eligible to work in the United States Job Footer (US)
