Our client, a leading company specializing in advanced technologies and solutions for the semiconductor and electronics industries, is seeking a Material Associate to join their team. As a Material Associate, you will be part of the operations team supporting production and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Associate
**Location:** Milpitas, CA
**Pay Range:** $26 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials; ensure accurate labeling and storage to maintain inventory integrity.
+ Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels.
+ Kitting and Staging: Assemble and prepare kits of materials for production orders, ensuring timely delivery to the manufacturing floor.
+ Data Entry: Maintain accurate records of material transactions using inventory management systems (e.g., SAP).
+ Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and quality teams to address material needs and resolve issues promptly.
