About the position:

Resolves a variety of issues involving the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of the movement of materials through the production and/or change cycle. Coordinates the availability of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering. Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to others.

 

You will:

Determine material requirements from planning systems, customer orders, engineering, and production schedules and/or changes, customer orders, and maintain inventory at planned levels Determine the quantities, delivery schedules of raw material, purchased parts, and assemblies required to sustain scheduled production and/or to implement engineering change Ensures all materials related to Change Requests are appropriately routed and completed and that all impacted areas receive final change distribution in accordance with work instructions May process rejected parts and take corrective action for replacement, rework, or credit Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant Reviews Master Production Schedule, work orders, and the planning system. Responds to priorities for specified customer orders and revises schedule accordingly Ensures system files are updated with proper information. May serve as a facilitator for planning/inventory/change committees or lead teams for assigned products/product lines May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to others Performs related work as assigned Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork

About you:

Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Two or more years of experience in material control planning is preferred. APICS certification is preferred in the following modules: Master Scheduling, MRP, and Inventory Control.

About the total compensation package

Salary - $58,500 - $70,018 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation – This position may qualify for relocation.
