Schedule: 2nd Shift: 12pm - 10pm
Pay Rate: $18.37 per hour

This position directly impacts the success of our manufacturing operations by ensuring that materials are handled, tracked, and moved with precision. Your Impact:
As a Material Control Specialist I, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely movement of materials within our manufacturing facility. Your work will directly support the production schedules and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations. You’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring that materials are correctly managed and that production flows smoothly.
Key Responsibilities: Interpret route cards and material request forms to ensure accurate material movement and tracking. Handle material requests for replacement materials, including scrap, DMT, and other miscellaneous issues. Move materials to the appropriate location using inventory systems and ensuring proper transactions. Track parts requested to support manufacturing schedules, ensuring no delays in production. Operate material handling equipment and company vehicles when required. Maintain responsibility for assigned equipment and ensure its proper functioning. Collaborate with team members in dispatching functions to support seamless material flow. Adhere to company safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment. Uphold housekeeping standards in your work area, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Apply Lean principles to your tasks, contributing to continuous improvement in our processes. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Valid Driver’s License. Related experience in expediting or material handling is preferred. Able to pass math and reading assessments. Ability to work effectively within an automated system. Experience in materials coordination. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience operating material handling equipment and company vehicles. Familiarity with Lean concepts and continuous improvement practices.

Pay Details: $18.37 per hour
