With minimal supervision, the Material Control Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties as listed below. This role involves driving a 26' box truck and requires a current driver's license (CDL not required), and forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities Loading, off-loading, shipping, and receiving of materials, including large semi-trucks, UPS/FedEx pick-ups and deliveries, etc.Verifying count and condition of materialsProcessing transactions on a PC or handheld computerPacking items for shipmentCoordinating with freight companies or supply vendorsPicking materials for AssemblyPerforming cycle countsOperating powered and non-powered industrial equipmentPerforming deliveries utilizing By Light vehicles, including Sprinter van and 26’ box truckPerforming other duties as directed Required Experience/Qualifications

One year of experience working in a warehouse.

 

Sit-down forklift experience.

 

Must have a current driver’s license (CDL not required)

 

Experience working as part of a team.

 

Ability to work overtime, including weekends.
