The Material Control Specialist II performs a variety of material control duties and to assist in the distribution of workflow for team members of the Material Control Department.

Responsibilities

Typical Duties include but are not limited to the following.

Loading, off-loading, shipping, and receiving of materials from the Receiving Dock; including large semi-trucks, UPS/FedEx pick-ups and deliveries, etc.Verifying count and condition of materialsProcessing of material control transactions into the inventory control module of CostPointAssisting with the packing of end items for shipmentAssisting with Manufacturing Order (MO) pick-lists, including bulk materialPerforming daily clean-up and recycling of materialsPerforming daily cycle countsUsing basic hand toolsOperating powered and non-powered industrial equipmentPerforming other duties as directed Required Experience/Qualifications One year of experience working in a material/inventory control environment or related field is required for this position.Candidate must be able to lift 35 lbsBe able to work while standing for extended periods of time Preferred Experience/Qualifications Experience working with government inventory,Item Unique Identification (IUID) system knowledge,Deltek Costpoint knowledge,powered industrial equipment experience Physical Demands Must be able to lift 35 lbsMust be able to work while standing for extended periods of time Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
