What you'll do...
The primary role of a Material Control Supervisor is to oversee the day-to-day operation of a Parts Distribution Center. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Lead a represented team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
-Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism.
-Engage with key stakeholders including suppliers to deliver key objectives.
-Maintain a positive working relationship with all stakeholders, including fair and consistent administration of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
You'll have...
•High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•Minimum 1 year leadership experience.
•Minimum 1 year work experience in similar positions.
•Demonstrated ability to actively listen, collaborate and problem solve with stakeholders.
•Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
•Demonstrated exceptional oral and written communication skills.
•Working Knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Even better, you may have...
•Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience.
•Experience working in a union environment.
•Experience in warehouse/distribution/ production operations.
•Knowledge of Warehouse Management systems (MMP, SAP, EXE, etc.).
•Knowledge of Payroll Systems.
