Material Coordinator-2
Amentum
**Purpose:** Performs mission/resource shipping analysis coordinates with supply, maintenance and transportation functional areas and ensures supporting requirements and implied tasks are accomplished to standard and within required timelines.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for picking up all classes of supply while maintaining accountability until issued.
+ Checks loading of the vehicle and ensures that the load is correctly positioned, and the vehicle is not overloaded.
+ Drives equipment to staging areas as designated.
+ Drives trucks to destination for pickup and delivery.
+ Secures loads being transported to ensure safe and undamaged loads at destination.
+ Assists in loading and unloading of material transported.
+ Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
+ Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
+ Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
+ Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
**Education:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
**Experience:**
+ 3 years of related work experience driving various types of military vehicles or commercial equivalents.
**Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Must have high-level experience using Microsoft Office; Power Point and Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred.
+ International driver’s license prior to deployment preferred.
**Certification, License & Clearance:**
+ Valid US Driver’s license required.
+ US Citizenship required.
+ Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.
**Facility credentials/authorization required** :
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility and credential /authorization:
Note- US Citizenship is required for facility credential/authorization at this work location.
**Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:**
+ Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
+ Must be able to lift 50lbs.
+ Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
+ Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
+ When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
