We are seeking a Materials Coordinator 4 to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah, and support our exceptional teams who build high-quality products and contribute to our growth. Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, this role will oversee materials management, material flow, and assist with defining standard WIP and Supermarket quantities. You will implement best practices, develop production plans based on capacity and material availability, and collaborate with Operations, Test, Engineering, and Quality teams to support KOIs and production planning systems. ...
Responsibilities:
- Manage work orders and track Plan vs Actual fulfillment based on available resources (materials, employees, equipment, etc.).
- Oversee material movement within Work In Process (WIP) and assist in cycle count activities.
- Define and manage material flows to ensure efficient production planning.
- Prepare "Clear to Build" reports, verify material availability, and replan if necessary.
- Monitor open work orders, maintain stocking levels, and address stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the Master Scheduler to manage product lifecycle and resolve materials availability issues.
- Implement and drive process improvements in production planning and related areas.
- Support coordination with cross-functional teams including Operations, Test, Engineering, and Quality.

Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Skills:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience with high-speed/high-volume production planning.
- Familiarity with inventory control practices in a high-speed/high-volume environment.
- ERP experience, specifically with BaaN.
- Process improvement experience within production planning or related functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional interactions.
- Solid understanding of production planning and materials management processes.
- Experience managing materials/material flow in production environments.
- Knowledge of tracking and managing work orders, stocking levels, and work-in-process inventories.
