Material Coordinator

Job Overview:

Linde, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a Material Coordinator who is looking for longevity and career advancement within our organization. This position will source and provide parts for our 14 technicians across Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. This role is based at our Willis, TX facility and reports to the Customer Service Manager. We are seeking a professional who is committed to staying with the company for the long term.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of materials required for projects and operations.Meticulously plan and coordinate to manage inventory levels.Oversee procurement processes and liaise with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.Coordinate with various departments to monitor inventory levels and forecast needs.Work with onsite contractors to load and unload trucks.Maintain accurate records and support supply chain processes.Source parts in a timely manner, often with short deadlines.Communicate effectively with engineering, technicians, management, customers, and sales.Work with trucks and cranes to efficiently transport and place products.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of JDE experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience working with trucks and cranes.Inventory management experience.Ability to safely operate a forklift.Strong understanding of materials and components.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
