Job Title: Material Coordinator

Job Description

You will work in a team-based environment to ensure the efficient movement of materials in support of shift/daily schedules. Deliver timely material staging in support of production work orders and ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.

ResponsibilitiesSafeguard against loss of materials and adhere to corrective action protocol for lost materials.Ensure accurate and timely transaction of material movements, ensuring optimal use of all team resources and tools.Support the continuous improvement of all related processes for materials movements, transaction execution, and inventory accuracy.Work with stakeholders to optimize processes and interactions between scheduling, floor controllers, and production floor.Adhere to all safety and quality standards established in process documentation.Pursue Best Practices with the members of the team.Ensure a safe working environment and enforce all relevant safety practices.Identify potential issues in a process; report findings to team management and participate in troubleshooting and resolution process.Ensure proactive and effective communication within the team and with other stakeholders and partners.Actively support Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S related projects and initiatives as identified by specific initiatives and charters.Participate in problem-solving teams to address problems as they arise. Actively contribute to inter-team and inter-departmental problem-solving teams.Pursue all relevant training requirements as part of a highly flexible cross-trained workforce.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or EquivalentSome experience in a manufacturing-based environmentKnowledge of Good Documentation PracticesExperience with GMP manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft-based software such as MS Word and ExcelTransactional experience with ERP systemsIntermediate Excel skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong collaborative skills and the ability to influence others without authorityEnergized by working in a fast-paced environmentConsistent, dependable, and accurate in carrying out responsibilitiesDisplays positive attitude towards job and othersResults-oriented and data-drivenProactive approach that anticipates needs and problems while creating solutionsExcellent documentation and communication skillsAbility to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 45 pounds or more with assistance and/or equipment on occasionWhy Work Here?

You will be working on the first shift with a flexible start time between 5 to 8 AM. The work environment includes regular physical activity, such as lifting materials, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure and efficient workspace.
