**Primary Purpose**
Functions as the primary customer and supplier interface for the Supply Services East Department. Manages distribution and delivery from suppliers to local end users at a high service level. Receives, picks, issues, and stages material as requested. NOTE: Employees may be assigned to any storeroom located within the service territory.
**Primary Duties**
+ Operate equipment to support material load/unload activities, proper arrangement of laydown and staging areas and for direct field crew assistance.
+ Manage material availability through direct integration with Work Management representatives in accordance with published work schedules.
+ Complete purchasing/procurement of short lead time materials.
+ Procure coded and non-coded material up to $10,000 resulting from reorder review or customer's direct request.
**Job Scope**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Valid Driver's License
+ Minimum of one (1) year Material Management/Procurement experience
+ Knowledge of PC applications
+ Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with all levels of management
+ Working knowledge of inventory, purchasing, and Work Management Process
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 4 years of college preferred
+ Forklift experience preferred
+ HAZMAT/MSDS experience preferred
