Material & Equipment Coordinator
Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Material & Equipment Coordinator** to join our client’s team in Marlborough, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the logistics and refurbishment of medical devices. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of receiving, cleaning, converting, and storing refurbished medical equipment, as well as coordinating the shipping and receiving of capital equipment. **Why Adecco?** + Competitive Pay: $25.00 per hour + Dedicated onboarding specialist to guide you from offer to your first day. **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. + 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably within the medical device industry. + Demonstrated ability to be cross-trained and a good understanding of component identification and documentation requirements. + Some experience in machining is preferred. + **Strong technical skills:** Ability to re-assemble refurbished products for demonstration purposes, inspect, and perform light maintenance on endoscopy capital equipment. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Proficient computer skills. + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. **Responsibilities:** + Perform the refurbishment tasks for a particular device, including assembly using simple tools, fixtures, and go/no-go gauges as defined in an assembly work instruction. + Coordinate shipping and receiving of capital equipment, including incoming and outbound quality and functional verification of endoscopy capital and ancillary equipment (e.g., models). + Inspect, test, and maintain capital equipment, including troubleshooting basic issues or scheduling for repairs when appropriate. + Collaborate with the Logistics and Materials Management team during peak times to support end-to-end shipping (pick, pack, ship), receiving, organization, and storage for general warehouse operations. + Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements. + Follow and adhere to company policies and procedures. + Perform multiple operations in a functional area, such as product re-assembly, material documentation, handling, and control. + Demonstrate self-motivated initiative and the ability to work independently. + Proficiently use computers for tasks such as confirmations, issuing materials, and printing labels. + Participate in program or functional team projects to develop process improvement methods, solutions, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency. **Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
