Summary

The Material Estimating Analyst, Sr. is a crucial member of our estimating team, this role play an essential part in the development and maintenance of accurate material estimates for various proposals and programs. The Material Estimating Analyst, Sr. in the Pricing department is responsible for developing, managing and analyzing key aspects of the material cost estimation process.  This role works closely with buyers, material planning managers and program managers to ensure accurate forecasting, budgeting, and material cost management.  This position is hybrid.

Position Responsibilities:

Create, update, and maintain current, accurate, and complete BOM estimate, ensuring all material requirements are captured and reflected in financial and pricing estimates and analyses. Ensure that all current BOM data is available to all interested parties.Analyze BOM to estimate material cost for proposals and perform comparative analysis.Work with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data related to material estimates.Review and analyze purchase order data to identify cost saving opportunities and improve future purchasing decisions.Collaborate with material program managers and buyers to align material cost estimates with project budgets and timelines.Identify opportunities to improve the material estimation process, enhance data accuracy, and streamline workflows.Utilizing various software tools to generate and refine material estimates.Continuously assessing and enhancing estimating processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of estimates to meet program deadlines.Responsible for creating estimates for all capital requisitions.Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

Bachelor’s degree in required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in related filed.Minimum of 8-12 years of experience with material cost estimating.Strong understanding of Bill of Materials and Purchase Order (PO) processes.Proficient in financial analysis, cost estimation tools, and ERP systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to work with larger datasets.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams.

Special Requirements:

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.Occasionally may be required to travel within the Continental U.S.

The salary range for this role is:

$108,275 - $153,615
