As a Material Handler II here at Honeywell, you will be a crucial part of our Integrated Supply Chain in Torrance, CA. You will play a key role in our manufacturing operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and components throughout the production process.

You will report directly to our Manufacturing Operations Manager and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location.

Utilize your logistics knowledge & expertise in a manufacturing environment. You will assist in the execution of the below duties: utilizing warehouse management techniques to support shipping, and logistics coordination of carriers for both international and domestic orders but not limited and include, including receipts and inspections of goods, inventory control, nonconforming inventory management, material handling & packaging for warehousing, and management system. Logistics associates must have a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail to prioritize the organization’s daily operations and workflow to ensure that deadlines are met with maximum product quality. All members comply with company policies and maintain a high level of safety. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those duties are fulfilled and goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nProcess Material Movements Physically and Systematically\nReceive and Process Inbound and Outbound Material per Customer and Honeywell Requirements\nInspect and Test Incoming Materials per Required Guidelines\nPick and Put-away Materials to Respective Staging and Stockroom Locations\nComplete Cycle Counts, Shelf-Life Management and Other Warehouse Health Functions\nManage Transactions for Nonconforming Material Physically and Systematically\nInitiate and Close Quality Notifications for Nonconforming Material\nContact Suppliers for RMAs for Nonconforming Material\nCreate and Fund Return POs for Nonconforming Material\nCreate IDO, Production Hardware, Bulk Stock and Other Required Purchase Orders for Commercial and Defense Factories\nIdentify and Manage Problem Shelf Materials for Receiving, Inspection, Stockroom and Shipping\nCoordinate Material Drop Off and Pickup with Freight Carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)\nComplete 5S and Other HOS Activities per the Logistics MOS.\nPerform SAP Transactions and comprehend work instructions and job aids\nParticipate in Annual Physical Inventory and Other Inventory Control Tasks\nAssist in Any Logistics Task as Needed\nParticipate in Team / Tier Meetings\n\n

U.S. PERSON REQUIRMENTS

The hourly range for this position is $42,000 ($20.19/HR.) - $62,000 ($29.80/HR.) Please note that this compensation information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
