B & H Job Description Job Title: Material Handler 3 Division/Department: Fulfillment Reports to: Approved By: Viewed By: Human Resources- NJF Last Reviewed: Job Overview: Experienced Material Handler 3 are responsible for moving, picking, storing, scanning, counting, and preparing merchandise for shipment while operating heavy machinery with precision, using an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift. Essential Responsibilities: + Operate an Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift to move pallets and put away items in assigned warehouse locations. + Load or package boxes and crates for shipping while ensuring accuracy of contents + Assist with packing materials distribution and disposal of empty boxes + Stock items in assigned locations within the warehouse and take part in the inventory count process + Accurately pick merchandise from existing stock to fill customer’s orders + Unpack boxes following standard procedures Additional Responsibilities: + As assigned by the manager Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: + Must be able to Lift 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance + Extended periods of standing/walking (10+ hours/day) + Attention to detail and ability to count + Must be able to locate and identify specific items + Must be able to use of a hand scanner to enter data in a computer system + Must be able to manually pack and seal boxes following standard procedures + Must have at least 1 years of Sit-down Forklift experience + Must have at least 1 years of Electric Pallet Jack experience Preferred Education, Experience and Licenses: + Minimum 6 months experience in a Warehouse + High school diploma or equivalent required.
