**Material Handler** **Pay: 18.50hr** **Hours: 8am-4:30pm *potential to start at 6:00 or 7:00am depending on need will be determined the day before** **Pay 2nd shift: $20.35** **Hours: 10a - 7:30p** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler who is not afraid of heights to be trained on operating a cherry picker forklift. The role involves providing shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment services for finished goods, inventory materials, supplies, parts, and equipment. This is a potential temp-to-perm position. **Responsibilities** + Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and correctly process items for storage and/or shipment in accordance with established procedures and customer requirements. + Receive materials and/or finished goods daily, verifying the quality, type, and amount of materials received, ensuring appropriate documentation is present. + Work in a warehouse environment under various temperatures, including room temperature (59-86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and freezer-room (minus 4 - 23 degrees F). + Operate distribution equipment as required. + Complete training requirements and operate within all standards pertaining to site Distribution, including Control of Documents and Quality Policy. + Communicate effectively with internal personnel and provide excellent customer service. + Understand and interpret team metrics, recognizing deviations from accepted practices. **Work Environment** The position is based in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, including room temperature (59-86 degrees F), cold-room (36-46 degrees F), and freezer-room (minus 4 - 23 degrees F). The role involves highly repetitive tasks, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 25 lbs continuously. Occasionally, lifting up to 50 lbs, sitting, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and handling packaged hazardous materials may be required. The noise level is usually moderate to high. Flexibility in working varying schedules, hours, and overtime as needed is required. Occasional local travel may be necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Greencastle, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35/hr.
