Receives, stores, counts, issues, and transacts material, products, and supplies, to support the manufacturing facility. Will support a place for everything and everything in its place.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Receive shipments from suppliers and store materialsPick parts for manufacturing jobs and parts ordersEnsure inventory accuracy is maintained by performing transactions in company’s ERP system (Epicor) to receive, issue and move materialAct as a water spider by refilling supermarkets and delivering parts to operationsPerform 5S and works maintaining safety standardsSupport other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience working in a manufacturing environment stockroom is preferredBasic math skills and computer skills to perform computer related transactionsAbility to obtain forklift certificationAbility to read, write and understand English

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must lift and/or move up to 40 pounds alone, 70 lbs. with assistance.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
