Volt is immediately hiring for a Material Handler in Compton, CA.

\r\n\r\n

As a Material Handler you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLoad and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner.\r\n\tMove product to storage areas with proper equipment.\r\n\tUse tablet/computer to log inventory/receiving\r\n\tEfficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.\r\n\tPick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped.\r\n\tinteract with customers picking up orders.\r\n\tConduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.\r\n\tParticipate in physical inventories, as needed.\r\n\tPerform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.\r\n\tOperate equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment to include sit-down forklift. pallet jacks, slitters and tablet/computers.\r\n\tMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment..\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t1 year or more with picking/packing experience.\r\n\t2 or more years experience in a warehouse environment.\r\n\tAbility to lift up to 50 pounds\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
