Job DescriptionWHAT'S THE JOB?
Reporting to the Quality & Sustainability Manager, the main duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
Receive, organize, store, and track incoming and outgoing mails and packagesImplement Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standardsLoad and unload packagesOrganize stock in the most efficient wayPull material to fulfil orders properlyWrap some packages and place them on skids for deliveryMonitor inventory levels for hazardous waste supplies and suggest new orders when neededDocument orders, materials and any stock movementsEnsure to strictly follow safe handling of mail and packages policies and procedures are followedSet up training rooms in accordance with clients’ needs and requirements. Ensure training room set up is updated and close out tasks when they are doneAttend to any furniture moving requests from clientsEnsure material handling tasks are responded and completed on timeQualificationsWHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar positionAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFamiliarity with voice picking systems or two-way radio deviceExperience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. pump trucks, pallet jacks)Strong communication skillsDexterity and attention to detailOrganizational skills and Reliable, organized and dependableAbility to meet the physical demands of the job and ability moderate to heavy liftingHigh school diplomaAdditional InformationWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
