Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** The candidate will be loading and unloading trucks/vans. This may require the use of a sit-down forklift or lifting up to 50lbs to move the product. Ideally, we seek someone with over 2 years of experience but will consider any experience level if the candidate has other competencies. The candidate will be picking and selecting specific customer orders and must know how to work off of written instructions. Looking for candidates who has solid computer skills **Hard Skills** + 2+ years experience in warehouse + 6+ months of forklift experience + 1+ year of material handling experience + 6+ months of computer or inventory experience, specifically UPS or FedEx + High school education or equivalent + Forklift + Shipping + UPS (ideally) or FedEx experience + SAP + Domestic shipping + Lifting over 65lb cylinders **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in NEW BRITAIN, Connecticut. **Work Environment** Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with some flexibility during the week. **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
