**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Material Handler 2 Operate a sit-down forklift in a large, non-climate-controlled paper recycling plant. You will spend 90% of your shift on the forklift and 10% performing tasks such as cleaning, emptying boxes, and throwing boxes into the compactor. Shift: 4 AM - 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday. There are two openings available. **Hard Skills** + Forklift operation + Sit-down forklift + Material handling **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in OMAHA, Nebraska. **Work Environment** The work environment is dirty, as this is one of the largest recycling plants in Omaha. Cardboard and paper cover the warehouse floors at all times. The facility is not climate-controlled; you will be inside 90% of the day, but all garage gates will be open. It gets very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Forklifts have heaters and doors for winter months and will be equipped with AC in September. Candidates must wear jeans and steel-toe boots at all times.
