Material Handler
If you are seeking an opportunity as a Material Handler within a great manufacturing environment, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Louisville, KY, you will work in a team environment and aid the manufacturing of high-quality products.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Apply general math skills and inventory functions, adding, subtracting and recording inventory. Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Document materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and the location of units. Receive returned material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stock. Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
    Who You Are: You have great attention to detail and work well in team environments. You enjoy working with your hands and learning new operations that contribute to the success of the team that you work on.    
      For This Role, You Will Need: High school diploma or equivalent. Fluent in English (reading and writing). Ability to complete basic math functions (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division). Basic computer skills. Ability to read and understand production shop orders and instructions. Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently. Ability to sit and stand daily up to 10 hours. Legal authorization to work in the United States, without sponsorship now or in the future.
