A Shift: 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday ($20.94)

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the sufficient delivery and supply of materials to specific areas throughout the plant. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

Move, lift and stack material using hand trucks and other devices as required Ability to follow and understand WIP management process Move material throughout delivery areas ensuring that proper routing of material is followed (FIFO) Responsible for timely and accurate delivery and pick up of material Attention to detail with delivery of work in progress Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Use power walkies or other material movement equipment as needed (such as: Power Tugger Cart) Capable of performing repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs), flexibility for bending and reaching Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours) Perform any and all related tasks as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent  Ability to operate various material handling equipment Previous work experience handling and delivering materials Training/Certifications for material handling equipment Team player who is reliable, eager to learn, train and rotate through the various operations Strong dedication to team member morale, customer service, safety, quality and delivery Ability to multitask Ability to work independently and meet production expectations

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The ability to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs.), flexibility for bending and reaching The ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) The ability to actively listening and read comprehensive documents Strong communication skills
