**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** This role requires familiarity with forklifts and walkie riders, though you may not be using this equipment for the first 3 months. The warehouse operates on various shifts: Shift: $20.50/hour, Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm with overtime until 12am and potential overtime Sunday 6am-2:30pm This position requires warehouse experience and a passion for the job. You will be working in a very fast-paced receiving and shipping dock. Once trained (which may take up to 3 months), your responsibilities will include: - Initially performing normal picking and stacking tasks. - Operating an Electric Pallet Jack/Walkie Rider for 60-70% of the day. - Loading and unloading trucks, processing entire orders, and separating them by product number. - Using an RF scanner to track inventory. - Ensuring each product goes to the correct location prior to shipment. - Stacking boxes on pallets, shrink-wrapping finished products, and staging them for shipment. - Training on equipment such as forklifts and walkie riders after the first month. - Engaging in mostly manual material handling tasks. **Hard Skills** + Forklift operation + Electric Pallet Jack/Walkie Rider operation **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Mundelein, Illinois. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
