**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** AXLE MATERIALS- Material Handler The individual is responsible for the storage of material, satisfying production requirements, and the movement and disbursement of material using PIT equipment. This job requires approximately 60% of the time on a forklift and 40% picking by hand. **Responsibilities** + Complete PIT equipment training and be certified to drive at this facility. + Ensure proper warehousing of material. + Attend daily pre-shift meetings. + Learn and utilize the inventory management system. + Understand and follow instructions written on build tickets and/or picking documents. + Follow safe and proper movement procedures of material from the truck to dock, dock to rack locations, rack locations to picking areas, picking areas to kits, picking areas to production, and picking areas to outbound customer facilities (Hot parts). **Enviroment** This role is based in a production facility with 6 assembly lines. The work shifts are Monday to Friday, with options for the 1st shift and 2nd shift (3pm - 12:30am). The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and a t-shirt.
