**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** Offload approximately 800 packages per day, sort, palletize, and present to receivers for processing. Stay on your feet all day as you traverse a 220,000 sq ft warehouse collecting and replacing recycling/trash containers, sweeping, scraping labels, and assisting with scrap pallet collection and disposal. *Various departments available A Typical Day: • Unload incoming freight and ensure it accurately reflects the shipping manifest • Efficiently store freight in an organized fashion for intake and receiving • Frequently use reach trucks to categorize priority freight receipts • Verify package quantities prior to scanning them into the system, ensuring accuracy of deliveries • Assemble kitting pallets/carts and transfer them to the kitting operation **Hard Skills** + Lifting 40+lbs + Operation of reach trucks + Freight sorting and palletizing + Package verification and scanning **Soft Skills** + Attention to detail + Organizational skills + Physical stamina **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in ADDISON, Illinois. **Shift** M-FR 2:30:00 PM -11:00PM (Shipping) M-FR 12:30 -9:00PM (Assembly) M-FR 12:30:00 PM -9:00PM (Picking/Packing) Meadow 6:00am-2:30pm 7:00am-3:30pm **About Aerotek:** We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
