Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of materials handling within our inventory and manufacturing lines. You will use checklists to pull items, accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to designated areas. You will also process returned items, compile and maintain inventory, prepare procurement requests, and operate heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts. Additionally, you will take inventory through cycle counting and may audit kits for accuracy. **Responsibilities** + Use a checklist to ensure kit accuracy when pulling items from the order or stock list. + Accumulate orders, report shortages, and transport completed orders to distribution points or staging areas. + Process returned items and unscheduled issues. + Compile and maintain inventory of material received, stocked, and issued. + Prepare requests for procurement of materials. + Lift heavy items and operate forklifts as needed. + Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. + Take inventory of stored items through cycle counting. + Audit kits for accuracy as required. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in basic math, verbal, and written communication. + General computer skills. + Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and documented instructions. + Ability to perform various physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and moving packages. + Physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 40-50 lbs. + Ability to work as a team and collaborate with co-workers. + Familiarity with warehouse activities such as stocking, picking, kitting, and counting. + Ability to operate warehouse equipment including pallet jack, scale, wrapping, and strapping. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in material handling, inventory management, and general labor. + Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts. + Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. **Why Work Here?** This is a long-term opportunity that offers stability and growth within a dynamic work environment.
