About The Role\n
We currently have an opening for a Material Handler to join our team. The Material Handler is a member of the Warehousing and Logistics team, reporting to the Warehouse Manager. The individual plays a key role in ensuring execution of material receipt, storage, and shipping activities, as well as picking material for production jobs and sales orders. This individual is also responsible for the transportation of materials between Seegrid facilities using a company truck.\n
Responsibilities Include:\n\nAll aspects of receiving materials from suppliers, physically, and digitally in Epicor.\nPull, kit, and issue production\/service orders and deliver to the appropriate assembly area. \nMaintain accuracy in inventory, perform weekly cycle counts, and assist in reconciliation to achieve inventory accuracy goals.\nResponsible for the overall cleanliness\/organization of the warehouse facility.\nPrepare, complete, and ensure accuracy of orders for shipments & delivery according to schedule. Including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, shipping.\nOperate company material handling equipment. (Pallet jacks, electric walkie stackers, counterbalance forklift, scissor lifts, etc.) As well as Seegrids AMR products.\nMove material between Seegrid facilities, suppliers & customers using a Seegrid 26' box truck.\n\n
Required Qualifications:\n\nHS diploma\/GED and 3+ years of Warehouse experience\nValid PA drivers license and DOT medical card, or willing to obtain the DOT medical card.\nSubject to background, drug, and MVR checks. \nAbility to follow policies and procedures.\nAbility to multitask, troubleshoot, and prioritize.\nHighly organized.\nStrong communication and computer skills.\nStrong team player.\nAbility to read, write, and interpret information.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.\nAbility to use coordinated hand and finger movements.\nAbility to sit\/walk\/stand\/reach\/bend for up to 8 hours per day.\nMust possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.\nAbility to work long hours in noisy and busy environments.\nAbility to lift 50 pounds.\n\n
Desirable Qualifications:\n\nExperience in warehousing or logistics in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with UPS Worldship and Fedex.com shipping processes.\nExperience using MRP systems, Epicor experience a plus.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suites and Concur.\nTeam player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer focus.\nStrong work ethic and willingness to learn\nMust be a highly responsible individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision.\n\n
