Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** A typical day in the position would involve cycle counts, data entry, forklift driving, saw operation, and computer systems efficiency. Safety is the top priority at all times. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklift safely and efficiently. + Perform cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels. + Utilize computer systems for data entry and inventory management. + Operate saws and other machinery as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. + Follow all safety protocols and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Experience in forklift operation. + warehouse and material handling. + Knowledge of computer systems and basic math skills. + Ability to read blueprints and use a ruler. + Experience in inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum 1+ years of experience in a warehouse or production environment, preferably in a metals or manufacturing facility. + Experience with RF scanners and knowledge of construction and water jet operations is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a solid organization that has doubled in employee size over the last 3-5 years. The facility employs 150-160 full-time employees (FTEs). Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the employer. Shifts are as follows: 1st shift: 6am-2pm, 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm, 3rd shift: 10pm-6am.
