**Job Title: Material Handler - Inventory Control** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to manage and control finished goods inventory. You will facilitate the transfer of materials from manufacturing and receiving areas to warehouse locations, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. Additionally, you will monitor and segregate inventory, reconcile discrepancies, and support picking, packing, and shipping processes. **Responsibilities** + Transfer finished goods inventory from manufacturing and receiving to warehouse locations for order fulfillment. + Monitor and segregate finished goods inventory that are placed on hold daily. + Facilitate transfer requests to and from offsite storage by generating reports through ERP. + Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating customer service inquiries and SFDC reports. + Monitor and account for inventory in temporary transit locations to ensure proper inventory transfer is completed. + Acquire and maintain a clear understanding of the technologies utilized in the company's products, parts, and services. + Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with all departments contacted in the course of work. + Interact with vendors and colleagues in Manufacturing, Production Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to reconcile inventory variances. + Support picking, packing, and shipping of material for order fulfillment by using scanners or manual methods. + Process orders using ERP, UPS Worldship, and FedEx Ship Manager software. **Essential Skills** + Experience in materials/inventory control, preferably in a scientific or chemistry-based manufacturing environment. + Working computer literacy using ERP systems, spreadsheet, and word processing software. + Knowledge of storekeeping and inventory control procedures. + Proficiency in using ERP systems and shipping software (UPS Worldship, FedEx Ship Manager). + Skill in operating forklifts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued. This is a contract role for at least 2 months, with a strong possibility of extension depending on business needs.
