Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and skilled Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate must be able to read and use a tape measure to accurately measure metal and materials. This role involves receiving orders, moving materials to CNC operators, and operating an overhead crane to load materials onto flatbed trucks for shipment. The job requires teamwork, some heavy lifting, and the ability to work in various roles as needed. **Responsibilities** + Read and use a tape measure to ensure materials are measured correctly. + Receive orders from leads and supervisors for customers. + Move materials to CNC operators for metal cutting. + Operate an overhead crane to load materials onto flatbed trucks for shipment. + Work as part of a team to move and store materials safely. + Perform quality checks on finished products. + Rig metal for shipment on flatbeds. + Lift 45-50 pounds on a frequent basis. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and using a tape measure. + Experience with overhead crane operation. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Material handling skills. + Ability to work as part of a team. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is a plus. + Previous warehouse, production, construction, or steel experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued.
