Material Handler
**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Overview** Under general supervision, the Material Handler is responsible for the physical and administrative tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, components, and supplies. The role also includes keeping accurate records of inventory and materials. **Key Responsibilities** + Receive, store, and distribute materials, components, and supplies. + Maintain accurate inventory and material records. + Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper ergonomic practices. + Understand and execute verbal and written instructions in English. + Participate in cross-training programs and collaborate with team members. + Identify and report any safety or quality concerns. + Adapt to new processes, tools, and systems. + Contribute to team improvement efforts and assist in resolving conflicts. + Accurately complete required documentation. + Handle and sort small components and parts. **Key Skills and Qualifications** + Ability to meet work schedules, including potential overtime and weekend shifts. + Proficient in reading and understanding procedures, safety guidelines, instructions, and policies in English. + Effective verbal communication skills in English. + Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot and address discrepancies. + Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds consistently. + Good vision and fine motor skills for handling small parts and components. **Work Environment:** This is a 2nd shift position with hours from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The work involves handling materials and sorting small parts with an emphasis on safety and attention to detail. The role requires the ability to follow detailed instructions. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
