Job Description
As a Material Handler, you will focus on quality and accuracy as part of our company-wide goal: Quality First. You will display Caring, Honesty, Accountability, Respect, and Trust (CHART) in all interactions. You will maintain a clean work environment at all times, adhering to sanitation standard operating procedures and general housekeeping practices throughout our facilities. You will also report any sanitation issues to the supervisor.
ResponsibilitiesParticipate in user training led by qualified staff, including hands-on training, material handling safe practices, Warehouse Management System (WMS) navigation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training. Trainings are documented accordingly.Operate material handling equipment safely in various areas and applications, including sit-down counterbalance, deep reach truck, order selector, turret truck, and electric pallet jacks.Utilize equipment in standard aisle configurations, wire-guided configurations, and refrigerated configurations for inbound trailer unloading, stock put-away, stock movement, cycle counting, stock picking, and outbound loading of trailers and LTL.Follow system direction from the WMS to complete daily activities using radio frequency (RF) equipment, pick-to-light technologies, or computer-based workstations.Pick case quantities and build pallets for extended periods while operating powered equipment or manual pallet jacks.Verify inventory levels in locations by performing cycle count processes in WMS.Simultaneously pick and begin packing containers to prepare them for shipping.Add packing materials to prepare containers for the final shipping process.Work within various areas of distribution such as Receiving, assorted pick modules, Kitting, Shipping, Returns, DEA, freezer, refrigerated space, and Small Order Distribution (SOD).Essential Skills1+ years of picking experienceKnowledge of RF scanner operationsBasic math and counting skillsBasic computer and calculator skillsExperience in inventory control, labeling, loading, and unloadingAdditional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detailAbility to learn from mistakesAbility to show care and empathyUnderstanding of QUALITY over Quota/QuantityWhy Work Here?
We offer a very clean and climate-controlled environment, maintained at 71 degrees year-round. Our leadership is friendly, and overtime on weekends is voluntary. Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and not very loud. It is climate controlled at 71 degrees year-round. Employees receive two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. The pay period runs from Sunday to Saturday, and overtime on weekends is voluntary. Some jobs will require working in a refrigerated environment; employees can wear jackets without hoods and that are not oversized.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
