Material Handler
**Job Description** The Material Handler performs different tasks that are required to ship, receive, store, cycle count, and distribute materials, parts, supplies, chemicals, and equipment. The role is responsible for synchronizing packing activities with the ordering and delivery of material in support of packing instruments and sub-assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Shipping & receiving, storing products, cycle counts + Distributing materials, parts, supplies, chemicals, and equipment. + Unpacking and checking goods received against purchase order invoices and storage specifications. + Maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. + Lift heavy items and prepare goods for shipment. + Maintain records of shipped goods. + Examine, stock, and distribute materials. + Prepare kitting packages for assembly production. + Synchronize packing activities with the ordering and delivery of material in support of packing instruments and sub-assemblies. **Required Skills** + Sit Down AND Stand-Up Forklift experience + Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment + GED or HSD is required + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (rare) as needed + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel **Shift & Pay** + 1st shift - **$18** + 6AM - 2:30PM + 8AM - 4:30PM Why Work Here? + Fortune 500 company with lots of room for growth + Full Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurances + 401k **Work Environment** + Employees are entitled to two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. + Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as lab gowns, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe shoes are required. + The facility enforces a no-phone rule and is monitored by a 24/7 security team with camera supervision. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
