Material Handler
**Job Description** + The Material Handler is responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the receiving, staging, returning, shipping, storage, destruction, and inventory management of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. + This role involves unpacking and checking material received against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of received material, and rejecting unsatisfactory items according to procedural requirements. + Additionally, the Material Handler picks and stages material for production work orders, packs material for shipments, performs cycle counts, item verification, consolidation, and transfer of material. **Responsibilities** + Receive, stage, return, ship, store, destroy, and manage inventory of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. + Unpack and check material received against purchase orders or invoices. + Maintain records of received material and reject unsatisfactory items according to procedural requirements. + Pick and stage material for production work orders and pack material for shipments. + Perform cycle counts, item verification, consolidation, and transfer of material. + Adhere to good documentation practices **Skills & Qualifications** + Familiarity with GDP (Good Documentation Practices). + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently. + Comfortable with opening and closing freezers multiple times a day. + Previous experience working with minimal supervision. **Why Work Here?** Our company values career growth and development, as evidenced by current leads and supervisors who started as temporary employees.
