Job Description

We are currently seeking two dedicated Material Handlers, one for the 2nd shift and one for the 3rd shift. The Material Handlers will start in either the sheet metal bay or the bar bay, depending on the current needs.

ResponsibilitiesSelect orders using high reach/side loader forklifts and sit-down forklifts.Sort and band materials once picked.Operate an overhead crane as needed.Load trucks and maneuver materials.Lift up to 55 lbs independently; team lift or forklift for heavier items.Complete 2-3 weeks of classroom training followed by 3-4 weeks of hands-on training.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating sit-down forklifts.Experience with overhead cranes.Order pulling and selecting.Material handling.Banding various metals.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with stand-up/side loader forklifts.Skills in saw operation, metal working, deburring, grinding, and metal grinding.Strong accountability, safety awareness, and willingness to help.Proven attendance record and eagerness to learn.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
