Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks/vans, which may require the use of a sit-down forklift or lifting up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience, but we are open to considering candidates with different experience levels if they possess other relevant competencies. Additionally, the candidate will pick and select specific customer orders and must be able to work from written instructions.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks/vans using a sit-down forklift or by lifting up to 50 lbs.Pick and select specific customer orders based on written instructions.Perform inventory management tasks including cycle counts and data entry.Handle shipping and receiving tasks using UPS and/or FedEx systems.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.6+ months of forklift experience.1+ year of material handling experience.6+ months of experience with computer or inventory systems, specifically UPS or FedEx.High school education or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with SAP and domestic shipping is a plus.Ability to lift over 65 lbs.Experience with picking, packing, loading, and unloading.Knowledge of using RF scanners and pallet jacks.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role is based in a smaller-sized warehouse with primarily 4 dock doors. The candidate must dress according to the weather, as it can get chilly when the doors are open. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with some flexibility required during the week.
