**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** As a Material Handler on our 3rd shift team, you will be responsible for ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers, securing shipment arrival times, managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products, performing quality checks on stored inventory, and discarding inventory that does not meet company standards. You will also update inventory counts, maintain records, report discrepancies, implement loss prevention programs, obtain estimates, compare costs, and research the accuracy of product details. **Responsibilities** + Order inventory from vendors and suppliers and secure shipment arrival times. + Manage inventory by stocking and cataloging products. + Perform quality checks on stored inventory and discard items that do not meet company standards. + Update inventory counts and maintain inventory records for management and other stakeholders. + Report discrepancies in inventory that indicate theft. + Implement loss prevention programs to prevent theft. + Obtain estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs. + Research the accuracy of product details and test new products. **Essential Skills** + Experience with ERP systems. + Proficiency in inventory management and data entry. + Strong record-keeping skills. + Experience in production control. + Ability to close out production orders (output and consumption). + Expertise in material movements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience as a Material Handler. **Why Work Here?** Join a team of good people in a culture that promotes growth.
