Job Description
Responsible for production control activities in support of manufacturing operations. Main responsibilities include work order creation, component issues, and documentation support based on released production schedules. Miscellaneous support activities for Manufacturing and Materials also part of responsibilities.
Irvine
1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Mon through Friday
Responsibilities
Ensure all QAD production and inventory related transactions are completed in a timely fashion.Support CER in backflush of components to work orders and work order completions via QAD transactions.Assist Materials team in providing Kanban component fulfilment.Provide work order support to meet production schedules and assist in production prioritization.Assist in analysis of inventory discrepancies in production control and finish goods areas.Work with management to maintain production schedules and reports.Fully cross-trained in all production control activities.Provide back-up for Materials Handling, Shipping and Receiving functions.Under direct supervision, perform production control activities and independently solve routine issues.Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.Comply with written company policies and procedures.Essential SkillsMaterial handlingInventory managementWork ordersERP system experienceMedical device knowledgeCleanroom experienceCycle countingShipping and receivingWarehouse managementAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment, AA degree preferred.QAD experience desirable.JDE, SAP or SysPro experience preferred.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System Standards.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in basic mathematical skills and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Familiarity with the Kanban process.Why Work Here?Our company offers a supportive and collaborative work environment. Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. It involves working with various technologies and equipment. The work hours and shifts may vary, and the dress code adheres to cleanroom standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.
