Job Description
We are looking to hire Material Handlers/Forklift Operators to work in a third-party logistics company. The position involves operating a forklift, handling chemical drums, and ensuring accurate labeling and staging. This is a 2nd shift position from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Training will be provided on the first shift for 2 hours.
ResponsibilitiesOperate forklift to transport chemical drumsFollow paper pick sheets to locate and move itemsLoad chemical drums onto forklifts and transport them to the staging dockLabel chemical drums accuratelyRepeat the process for multiple itemsEnsure attention to detail in a chemical facilityMaintain a strong attendance recordEssential SkillsMinimum of 6 months experience with forklift/pallet jackMinimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environmentAttention to detail, especially in a chemical facilityStrong attendance recordExperience with various forklifts (sit down, stand-up, reach truck)Additional Skills & QualificationsNo education requirementsSteel-toed shoes requiredExperience with other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, shrink wrap, and general labor tasksWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
This position is located on-site at a warehouse. The warehouse is managed by a team of about 40 employees, including both floor staff and management. The work involves operating forklifts and handling materials in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
