**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading inventory, ensuring the accuracy of incoming deliveries, and managing inventory. This role involves both manual labor and the use of machinery and requires attention to detail and organizational skills. **Responsibilities** + Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas. + Ensuring all incoming deliveries match the company purchase order. + Transporting and loading materials, supplies, and finished goods manually or using hand trucks and skids. + Storing cargo in assigned locations using cargo boards and pallets. + Managing inventory by identifying, cataloging, and recording the location of inventory. + Picking parts from rack systems and storage locations. + Utilizing ERP/SAP system for data entry. + Kitting, compiling individual items or component parts into a ready-to-ship package. + Operating warehouse equipment and machinery. + Tracking supply levels and regularly submitting purchasing recommendations. **Essential Skills** + Experience with labelling and material movement. + Proficiency in data entry and inventory count. + Knowledge of supply inventory and supply chain processes. + Forklift operation experience. + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Proficiency with barcode labeling software. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to relabel all items. + Experience in grouping items for inventory count. + Capability to relocate items with part numbers from blue rack to cable rack in dark side. + Skill in labeling bins for hardware and keeping these grouped by assembly. + Experience in reviewing other hardware shelves. **Why Work Here?** If offered permanent employment, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and maternity/paternity benefits. The facility is well-organized and requires adherence to safety standards. The role involves both physical activity and the use of ERP/SAP systems for data entry. The dress code is casual but safety gear is required when operating machinery. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Alameda, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
