Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for handling materials, breaking down skids of parts, picking orders, wrapping, and banding skids. You may also be asked to cross-train or fill in for different general labor positions. Steel-toed boots are required, hard hats and safety glasses will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesBreak down skids of parts.Pick orders from packing lists.Wrap and band skids.Perform various duties in the shipping department.Cross-train or fill in for different general labor positions, such as breaking out parts from skeletons and stacking parts.Essential Skills1 year of material handling experience.Proven ability to stand on feet for extended periods and label and package products.Ability to perform repetitive tasks.Additional Skills & Qualifications1 year of forklift experience is preferred.Experience in shipping and receiving.Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.Experience in manufacturing is preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a daylight opening from 7am-4pm in a large, clean manufacturing facility. The facility is heated in the winter but not air-conditioned in the summer. The parts worked on are smaller, and the bays are only 1.5 stories high. The facility spreads out over several buildings with both modern and older machinery. The culture is self and team monitored, with coworkers quick to point out lack of effort. Steel-toed footwear is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, Pennsylvania.
